The one that got away

It doesn't matter that this Stella McCartney Koons Bunny bracelet cost roughly what I might pay for my next car, I've had it stuck in my head for a few years.

I heart BK

A cool photo from David Flannery.

Joy de vivre
I'm considering incorporating a green wall into my Make It Right Project housing for New Orleans.

If only...

I would love to buy this dress with someone else's money.

SPRUNG!

OK, so it's snowing in Brooklyn on this first day of Spring. But some things have sprung, like the O.P.I. for Sephora Spring palette.

If I had a yard and no budget I'd be all over the White Flower Farm catalog.
One day...

Trend Obsession

JUMPSUITS!!!

I am inexplicably craving them. The one I have in my mind apparently doesn't exist. A short sleeved top w a collar, cinched at the waist, with a 3/4 length harem pant. However, I enjoyed viewing many other versions at style.com.

Designers Row 1: Derek Lan, Danielle Scutt, Collette Dinnigan, Bottega Veneta, Alessandro Dell'Acqua, 3.1 Phillip Lim. Row 2: Halston, Gucci, Giorgio Armani, Francesco Scognamiglio, Dries Van Noten, Diane von Furstenberg. Row 3: Ossie Clark, Organic by John Patrick, Moschino, Max Mara, Martin Grant, Helmut Lang. Row 4: BCBG Max Azria, Vivienne Westwood, Veronique Branquinho, Stella McCartney, Sonia Rykiel, Proenza Schouler.

Design Candy

These chocolate bars by Tithi Kutchamuch make a social message about less is more, and bargain foods and bla bla bla. I just wish they were sold as a whole so that I could eat my own shapes. Alas, I won't be eating any shapes into chocolate until Easter.

Until then, I wouldn't mind tiding myself over with these...

They're rings you make out of a template. One for every month. Delightful. A creative commitment I could probably handle.

Rings also by Tithi.

ChaneLove

I love this print ad for the Chanel RTW Spring '09 Collection.
It reminds me of...

This Louis Vuitton necklace from last season...

and anemones, a flower that made an appearance at my wedding.

Craving Origami

I'm in an origami phase. Here's some beautiful jewlery from Leila Batten. Too bad it's actually made of paper, I would likely destroy the bracelet after one wearing.

Infinity bookcase by Job Koelewijn

Do you climb in? Does it open up? Or does it not even matter cause you're never going to get to read all the books you'd like to anyway?

awwww...

This company understands that one can never have enough makeup. Once you open one compact there's even more adorableness to discover! The packaging is so cute though, that I fear I could not actually wear the makeup. I wonder what Pupa means in Italian... I shall go consult my dictionary.

It's a day for sweetness that I will be spending with my honey.
