Liz
Quick, there's still time to run over to Christie's and get you very own piece of Liz Taylor memerobelia! This charm bracelet fetched $362,500 but you can probably get a deal on her script for National Velvet.

You always hurt the one you love
I just had a movie break my heart a little bit. I'll be thinking about Blue Valentine for days. I haven't wanted to immediately rewatch a movie in a long time.
Ryan Gosling was so good, I'm going to have to boycot the Oscars this year (not really). He made me wish I'd married a childish alcoholic a little bit- and that deserves an award.

Bazaar Design
I though I'd pay tribute to the December 2010 Katy Perry subscriber cover of Harper's Bazaar before it's recycled into a paper plate. Best cover of the year.

Film Fashion
Last Friday I watched Grace Kelly, Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra in High Society. I'm still thinking about the costumes days later! Grace has a wardrobe to die for. Take a peak.
And now, for my alltime favorite, Grace wears a camel coat with a hood while driving. You can see the orange/red satin lining of the hood, but when she takes it off, she reveals the rainbow striped lining inside the coat. It must be fun to be a wardrobe consultant on a film like this.

style icon
It's hard to pick a style icon, but I certainly do love the Zooey Deschanel cotton commercial scene where she's wearing the turquoise cardigan and heels. When I was a Sesame Street viewer, my style icon was clear. Crystal Gayle made a couple of appearances that have defined my life. Long hair has always been my style and I remember being a toddler and identifying with her. Some things just inherently resonate with you. Thanks, Crystal!

Who tall are you?
That's exactly what you'll find out when you get this mirror. You can see how you measure up against celebrity heights. Who knew Bobby D was so short?

No Expectations
I haven't watched the Grammy's in about 10 years, but found myself with nothing better to do last night, so I tuned in. It was surprisingly enjoyable. The biggest surprise of the night came from an artist who prompts me to change the station like a reflex- Pink. I find her lyrics to be immature and whiny. Last night I learned that she can sing, and she's an adult. I urge her to keep it up.
I still don't get Taylor Swift though.

It's January!
January Jones looked stunning last night as usual. I love her versatile style. Here's a tribute.
