2016 is a baby year for me!  Ready or not, here I come!

It's always strange to me that the New Year gives people the feeling that they have a fresh start.  You make your own fresh start.  The New Year just means flipping a page in the calendar.

College Daze

This print is of the diner near where I went to college.  It's famous to me for a giant $2 plate of fries.  It's famous to the world from Seinfeld, and Suzanne Vega's "Tom's Diner".

This wall sticker is a visually delightful way to keep your week in order.  I'm not this evolved, so I think I'll just stick to the current system of having my calendar reminders let my brain take a scheduling vacation.

2012 was ushered in with a case of champagne, and now it's here, feeling preeeetty much like 2011, but good things are ahead.  Good things at work, good things at home, good things all around.  Positivity to start the new year.

London Bridge is Falling Down

It seemed like all hell was breaking loose across the pond just a few weeks ago, but with this week's natural disasters in NYC (earthquake and approaching hurricane) it seems like we're the ones who should be feeling uneasy!

I've had 3 sets of great couple friends move to other cities this summer.  London, San Francisco, Boston... what's wrong New York?!  I've got great places to visit, but I'll miss having them close by.

If I were ever to relocate to Los Angeles (highly unlikely) I'd like to work here.  Commune is a multi-disciplinary design firm that seems to get all the coolest projects.  They even have employee design retreats!

I went to Google something today as I do 8,000 times every day and they greeted me with this delightful twist on their moniker:

It's fun when Google incorporates what's going on that day with their logo.  Today's the 119th anniversary of the first documented ice cream sundae (obviously).  Maybe I'm so enamoured with this one cause I gave up sweets for lent.
