That's Bananas!

Woody Allen has signed on to write a new 30 minute TV show for Amazon Prime.

In his words, "I don't know how I got into this.  I have no ideas and I'm not sure where to begin.  My guess is that Roy Price will regret this."

I can't wait!

Saturday with the Girls

Thanks to a friend's HBO GO password, I think I'll stay in and have a Girls marathon tonight.  After several weekends of traveling, nothing could be more appealing!

Mad Metro

Commuting into the city on Metro North from Westchester is always much more romantic than taking the subway.  This morning I came in to work straight from my parents' house and the hustle and bustle of the commute had a much more civilized feel.  Very Mad Men (before Don moved to the city).

I'm gonna need this

No Reservations 100th episode is Paris. There's so many places I'm dying to jet off to, but watching this show just shot it to the top of my list. The more likely scenerio is that I'll go to Canada for my francais fix. Damn student budget.

style icon

It's hard to pick a style icon, but I certainly do love the Zooey Deschanel cotton commercial scene where she's wearing the turquoise cardigan and heels. When I was a Sesame Street viewer, my style icon was clear. Crystal Gayle made a couple of appearances that have defined my life. Long hair has always been my style and I remember being a toddler and identifying with her. Some things just inherently resonate with you. Thanks, Crystal!

Erin go Bragh!

I spent the morning with Martha and walked away with this beautiful cookbook. It pays to be Irish. If I had to learn more about cooking (rather than just passing it off to my less culinarily challenged spouse) I would do it here.

crushin'

My recent sleep-deprived performance in school can be blamed on Craig Ferguson. Ever sice NBC mixed up their night time programming, I've discovered an affection for Mr. Ferguson. It figures though, I can't resist alcoholics. Just ask any of my ex-boyfriends.
