Sleep No More

Last night I experienced Sleep No More.  A performance that takes place set in a 1920s hotel where you follow the performers around and are free to explore the 100 room extraordinarily decorated set.  The experience was less about following a linear narrative and more about exploring and experiencing moments in motion.  People who have returned have said they experience and entirely different show each time.  These reviews summarize the experience well from NY Mag, NY Times and another from the Times.

I painted my room today and a fun byproduct was that the white paint I used speckled my purple manicure.  I'll have to try to do this on purpose some time!

Herzog and de Meuron expressed the individuality of the Museum der Kulturen Basel by giving it a hat.  I like it among the landscape more than on its own.  Good thing it's part of a landscape.
