Every nursery needs a stylish mid century modern rocker.  This one is quite stylish, but I'm scared I'd get stuck in it without the ab muscles to pull myself out!  It may be worth the risk.

Decorating our house is a fun and overwhelming process!  Sometimes it's easier to focus on the little things than say, a sofa.

Tasting

Last night I went out to my birthday dinner at Blue Hill at Stone Barns.  My birthday was in September, but that's the wait for a reservation.  We had the 5 course tasting menu, which was a feast of flavors.  We started with vegetables from the farm.

The setting is lovely in the winter.  Walking up the lantern lit path to the restaurant with a coating of snow on the ground was very cozy.

2013 is here!

We ushered in the new year today with good friends watching a marathon of Between Two Ferns and eating tiramisu.  It was a good beginning to what will be a great year!  Happy 2013!

So long 2012!

And what a year it was!  Many milestones, but 2013 will be the real life changer.  We're going up to Western Mass to spend New Year's Eve with friends.  It will be the most raucous New Years we'll have for a while- even with this monster head cold.  Happy New Year!

If only getting dressed were as easy as this.  Babies get to be so chic!  Off to pick out my New Year's Eve outfit...

Having just moved into a new home, the year ahead is sure to involve lots of treasure hunting.  I'd love to have one of these, so I'll keep an eye out at the next garage sale.
